👻 It’s time for the 2026 Scary Story Contest at the La Veta Public Library! School-age writers (elementary through high school) can compete for cash prizes by crafting a spine-chilling tale in one of nine horror sub-genres. Submissions are accepted through Saturday, October 24 — as a PDF, shared Google Doc, or printed copy.
