Albert Anderson Clymer – The Wounded Knee Studies

La Veta artist Albert Anderson Clymer will talk about his Artwork inspired. by the historic Wounded Knee Massacre of December 29th, 1890. Many of his paintings refer to this tragedy: Ghost Dancers, Cemetery Hill, Leaving Pine Ridge to name a few. Clymer himself is out of Native American descent, mainly Choctaw, which contributed to his inspiration. There will be a silent auction of a couple of his Wounded Knee inspired paintings; this is THE chance to acquire one of his beautiful paintings. Michael Steward will play the piano at this event, free wine and snacks will be served. Don’t miss this event!
