Ethical Foraging of Edible, Medicinal, and Useful Wild Plants of Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains
This four hour session takes place at Malachite Ranch, the former site of the Town of Malachite and the former home of Malachite Small Farm and School. With the Huerfano River running through it, the ranch offers a diversity of plant environments, including both useful and deadly flora. Join Interpretive Naturalist Bob Kennemer from 9am-1pm on August 23rd as he guides students through the skills and tools needed to identify and utilize wild plants. Cost $30.
