Huerfano County Historical Society 2023 Annual Meeting
The public is invited to the 2023 Annual Meeting at the La Plaza Historic Hotel & Restaurant event room, 118 W 6th Street, Walsenburg. Featuring “The 25 Founding Hispano Families of Huerfano County” by Huajatolla Heritage Foundation. There will be lunch provided – salad, pot roast, vegetables, assorted beans, dessert, and drinks. The guest speaker/presentation is”Gone But Not Forgotten – Some Early Coal Camps of Southern Huerfano County – A History Project” by Bob DeWitt.
