Huerfano County Parks & Recreation Town Hall Meetings

The Huerfano County Board of County Commissioners is hosting a series of townhall meetings about the County’s Parks. This is a great opportunity to learn more about ongoing work at the Fox Theatre Walsenburg and Cuchara Mountain Park as well as upcoming projects at the Raymond Aguirre Community Center in Gardner and Fiesta Park. The Board also wants to discuss the potential for a public shooting range. The schedule for the meetings is as follows:
May 7th – 6pm at the Raymond Aguirre Community Center (28 Co Rd 632, Gardner)
May 10th – 2pm at the Day Lodge at Cuchara Mountain Park (1234 Panader Ave, Cuchara)
May 12th – 6pm at the Huerfano County Community Center Conference Room (928 Russell St., Walsenburg)
May 14th – 6pm at the County Fairgrounds (401-499 Moore Avenue, La Veta)
