Junior Rangers: Learn about Rocks and Decorate Your Own “Pet Rocks”

Join us near the Playground at the Swim Beach at Lathrop State Park to learn about igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks with geologist/geophysicist Dr. Heloise Lynn. Then, decorate your own pet rocks. This program is free! Meet at 1pm near the swim beach playground at Lathrop State Park. Be sure to bring a parent or guardian, and wear clothing that is art-project friendly. Park passes are required on all vehicles entering the park.
