Nature and Wildflower Hike with Edie Flanagin Martin & Horseshoe Lake in Walsenburg

Join naturalist Edie Flanagin Sunday at 10am. If you love identifying what you find with your smartphone, Edie will also be teaching us how to use the iNaturalist app (free for both iPhones and Androids). Closest parking is the Horseshoe Lake Dam parking area. Hop on the cement trail between Martin Lake and Horseshoe Lake and head south on foot to the bird viewing area. It is suggested to wear hiking shoes and bring plenty of water and your smartphone with the iNaturalist app downloaded. For questions or more information, please contact Lathrop State Park at 719-738-2376. The Park is located at 70 County Road 502, Walsenburg. Park passes are required on all vehicles in the park, as well as for bikers and walk ins.

The event is finished.
