Scenic Highway of Legends (SHOL) Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Bi-County Scenic Highway of Legends (State4 Highway 12) has been a State Scenic Highway for more than 30 years. In 2021 the Highway was awarded federal scenic highway status and is now officially one of America’s Scenic Byways! The SHOL connects both Huerfano and Las Animas Counties so we are hosting two ribbons cuttings: In Trinidad at 11:00AM at 309 Nevada Ave. and in Walsenburg at 1:00PM in the parking lot of the Spanish Peaks Welcome Center 400 Main Street.
