Two Peaks One Book 2022 “4,284 miles”

Please join us for a community book read. The mission of this program is to foster community dialog & interaction by the reading & discussion of a common book. The 2022 selection is “4,284 miles” by Roger L. Greene. It is a fascinating work of historical fiction about 2 young boys who, in 1916, set out from Colorado Springs on their bicycles for a trip across the country to see the Statue Liberty. “4,284 Miles” is a wonderful coming of age novel filled with historic information about America in the early 20th century, unforgettable characters, & thought provoking themes of equality, freedom & the cost of liberty.
