Wednesday Wonderful Weed Walks & Fun Flower Frolics

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood… to learn more about the wild flowers, weeds, edible, medicinal, useful, and poisonous plants in your neighborhood! Local naturalist and environmental interpreter, Bob Kennemer will guide you on a gentle stroll through the parks, yards, streets, and alleys of La Veta identifying wild plants. This program is for all ages and runs about an hour or a bit more. Bring a notepad, water, and questions. New low price! Cost is only $5 for adults 16 and over, payable in cash, check, or gold bullion. Kids are free but must be with an adult, meet in front of the library and *please be prompt!
