Creating a Legacy Cookbook

Huajatolla Heritage Foundation is pleased to partner with Think Art 360 to offer a fun opportunity to work with elders in Huerfano County to share and preserve another aspect of our rich culture and heritage. Working with Annie Toro Lopez, a respected author and writing coach, we will be offering an opportunity to not only learn, or hone or improve your writing skills. We will write about memorable kitchens and then take it a step further with adding recipes focusing on the quintessential favorite, green chili. It will culminate with putting it all together in publishing a cookbook to share. The 5-week class is free and will start Monday October 3rd; 1pm at the Walsenburg Housing Authority.
