Award-winning American recording artist, classical guitarist & songwriter Andy Hackbarth holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder, following several years of study at the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music & the Aspen Music School. He has studied privately, as well as taken Master Classes with some the world’s most highly-respected musicians, including John Williams, Christopher Parkening, Elliot Fisk, Ricardo Iznaola & Julliard’s Sharon Isbin & Kevin Gallagher. He has won, placed, & been a finalist in numerous major national & international competitions, including the International Acoustic Music Awards, The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Competition, Music Teacher’s National Association Competition, the Neale Silva Foundation Competition, Stars of Tomorrow, the International Songwriting Competition, & others.
