Cuchara Public Library is a branch of the La Veta Regional Library District.
To serve the residents of La Veta Regional Library District (which includes Cuchara) better, the Board of Trustees and the Library Director have taken the first steps toward establishing a library branch in Cuchara. The new branch is seasonal, and offers books, movies, computer and internet access, and special programs to residents and visitors of Cuchara.
Cuchara Public Library has finished its second season and will open again after Memorial Day, 2023 – see you next May!
The Library also maintains an open wifi network called “Cuchara Library” available in the vicinity of the Bachman & Associates office on Cuchara Avenue. Anyone can use it to access the internet at any time of day. The wifi will be available through the end of October, 2022 and will resume in May, 2023.
Thanks to Annalee Hickey and Bachman & Associates for lending us their space in Cuchara! We are also partners with the Spanish Peaks Chamber of Commerce and provide tourist information about local amenities and events.
