Spanish Peaks Christmas Bird Count at La Veta Town Park

The Arkansas Valley Audubon Society is pleased to sponsor the Spanish Peaks Peaks Christmas Bird Count on Saturday, January 3rd. We will meet at 8am at the La Veta Town Park and bird in the morning until about noon when we will meet in the Town at a local home for lunch and refreshments. Bring your on sack lunch. Intrepid birders will continue in the afternoon. With the group will be experienced birders to help beginners in identifying the dozens of species expected to be seen.
