El Fandango Dancers in the Amphitheater at Lathrop State Park

To Launch your Labor Day weekend, join us for a performance of wonderful El Fandango Dancers, a local folkloric dance group. The group began as a high school Spanish club in 1938 and has turned into a dance group for all ages. They are expanding this year, starting a new elementary after school dance program at Peakview school. The four current dancers will be competing at an international dance competition September 23rd and 24th at CSU Pueblo’s Hoag Hall. This weekend’s program is free and happens Friday, Sept. 2nd at 7pm. Park passes are required on all vehicles entering the park.
